two little words

this weekend has been quite the adventure. a few of us decided to feat the weather thrown down on us and haul down to Arkansas to watch the Bears play in the ncaa tournament. they lost their second game but it was a great step for missouri state to make it to the second round. i enjoyed driving away from all my work and worries for awhile and have a carefree weekend with my friends. i enjoyed catching up with my girls, just hanging out and playing pool with the fans and staying in a hotel like the old days. it brought back warm memories of my team and i realized how greatful i am of all of them. its kind of funny though how i spent four years with some of these girls, yet i feel like i am finding out more about them now. i guess we were all robotic players then and now we set our own schedule and priorities. this weekend also made me a little sad, everyone talking about were they will land up after graduation. we say we will visit and call all the time, but i know deeply how difficult it will be. no longer can we just pick up and go mindlessly across the state, or call and say you desperately need an icecream break and that you'll be there in five minutes to pick them up. things will be fine i know but they will be different.

right now i cant get over that the semester is almost over, i am still working away on getting it all finished. as far as i know my marketing class is over. one down three more to finish up. i just have to repeat to myself that these two weeks will be hard but after that, christmas break! i might go to chicago at the begginning of january to check out some design studios and also some museums. i think it will be a good time all i need to do now is somehow scrape up the money.

anyways, i best be going to get my work finished. i think this post is long to push away the work i need to be doing.
